Privacy notice

A plain-language explanation of what AVENPORT processes, why it is needed, and what choices you have.

Last updated: 30 July 2026

2. Data we process

For early-access requests, we store the work email, store URL, target market, product category, selected language, request status and submission time.

For a public-page scan, the submitted product URL is fetched temporarily to create the result. The page content and scan result are not added to the early-access database unless you separately submit the store URL in the early-access form.

Hosting providers may process technical request information such as IP address, browser details, timestamps and security logs.

3. Why we process it

We use the data to provide the requested scan, manage pilot access, respond to the request, secure the service and improve reliability. For people in the EU or EEA, this is based on steps requested before a possible contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, and consent where it is specifically requested.

4. Providers and international transfers

AVENPORT uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, delivery and database storage. These providers may process data in Switzerland, the EU/EEA, the United States or other locations. Where required, transfers are protected through recognised contractual or legal safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

Early-access records are kept only while they are relevant to the pilot and normally no longer than 12 months after the last relevant contact, unless a longer period is required for a legal claim or obligation. Technical logs follow the retention periods of the infrastructure providers.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. You may also withdraw a consent for future processing and complain to the competent data-protection authority. Send requests to hello@avenport.ch.

7. Cookies and tracking

AVENPORT currently uses no advertising trackers, analytics pixels or marketing cookies. A security or sign-in service may use strictly necessary technology when an owner-only area is opened.

8. Automated scan

The readiness scan is an automated estimate based on visible public-page signals. It does not make legal or contractual decisions about people and is not a certification of compliance.

9. Pilot selection and service protection

If you choose an indicative pilot plan or submit the form after a scan, we also store the selected plan and readiness score so the request can be prioritised.

To limit automated abuse, AVENPORT keeps a daily-changing pseudonymous fingerprint derived from technical request data for no more than 48 hours. The application database does not store the raw IP address for this purpose.

10. Payments and subscriptions

If secure checkout is used, AVENPORT sends the selected plan, currency, work email, store URL and a request reference to Stripe. Stripe processes the billing address, tax ID and payment method directly; AVENPORT does not receive full card or bank details.

We keep Stripe customer, checkout and subscription identifiers, payment status, plan, amount and billing period so we can provide the subscription, support the customer and meet accounting or legal obligations. Stripe may process data internationally under its own privacy terms.
